Yanks
As you can see in my Zannel Widget, I bought “Yanks.” These are shoe laces to assist a tri-athlete during transitions. One does not have to worry about tying their shoe laces going from the swim to the bike or from the bike to the run (if you were wearing clip in bike shoes.) These help out with time in a number of ways. First, the obvious, there is no tying involved at all. The tightness is set ahead of time and the laces are elastic. Second, your body goes through a lot while racing in a triathlon. When exiting the water, you hands are close to fronzen since in the majority of triathlons you are swimming in open water. Tying shoes can be very difficult. With the Yanks, you do not have to worry about tying shoes. If you are going fro bike to run to change your shoes, you hands can be stiff from their position on the bike for the past hour or more.
I have raced in triathlons without the Yanks, so I will test them out to see the difference they actually make.
